چکیده
Let C be a complex affine reduced curve, and denote by H1(C) its first truncated cohomology group, i.e. the quotient of all regular differential 1-forms by exact 1-forms. First we introduce a nonnegative invariant μ(C, x) that measures the complexity of the singularity of C at the point x, and we establish the following formula: dim H(C) = dim H1(C) + ∑

On the Polynomial Cohomology of Affine Manifolds
It is well known that the real cohomology of a compact Riemannian manifold M is isomorphic to the algebra of its harmonic forms. When M is a fiat Riemannian manifold, i.e. a Euclidean manifold, a differential form is harmonic if and only if it is a parallel differential form. In the local Euclidean coordinate systems on M, such a differential form has constant coefficients. Thus, for a Euclidea...
متن کاملEffective de Rham Cohomology - The General Case
Grothendieck has proved that each class in the de Rham cohomology of a smooth complex affine variety can be represented by a differential form with polynomial coefficients. We prove a single exponential bound on the degrees of these polynomials for varieties of arbitrary dimension. More precisely, we show that the p-th de Rham cohomology of a smooth affine variety of dimension m and degree D ca...
متن کاملFeedback–invariant Optimal Control Theory and Differential Geometry, II. Jacobi Curves for Singular Extremals
This is the second article in the series opened by the paper [4]. Jacobi curves were defined, computed, and studied in that paper for regular extremals of smooth control systems. Here we do the same for singular extremals. The last section contains a feedback classification and normal forms of generic single–input affine in control systems on a 3-dimensional manifold.
متن کاملEfficient elliptic curve cryptosystems
Elliptic curve cryptosystems (ECC) are new generations of public key cryptosystems that have a smaller key size for the same level of security. The exponentiation on elliptic curve is the most important operation in ECC, so when the ECC is put into practice, the major problem is how to enhance the speed of the exponentiation. It is thus of great interest to develop algorithms for exponentiation...
متن کاملMixed Hodge structure of affine hypersurfaces
In this article we give an algorithm which produces a basis of the n-th de Rham cohomology of the affine smooth hypersurface f−1(t) compatible with the mixed Hodge structure, where f is a polynomial in n+ 1 variables and satisfies a certain regularity condition at infinity (and hence has isolated singularities). As an application we show that the notion of a Hodge cycle in regular fibers of f i...
